Bellewood Fixer

For this fixer upper project (which is still underway), my husband and I are slowly but surely turning a "cabin-in-the-suburbs" fright into a rustic farmhouse haven.  Trading the pistachio green walls for a bright and vibrantly tinted blue accent wall juxtaposed against a neutral cream was our first priority, making the living area feel even larger.  Everything about this property felt heavy and overly rustic for where the house was situated when we purhcased it, so most of the design decisions that have been made up to this point have been aimed at giving the home a more airy and upbeat vibe, while still prioritizing a hint of serenity.
